Public Service Labour Relations Board

The Public Service Labour Relations Board (PSLRB) administers collective bargaining and grievance adjudication systems in the federal public service and Parliament. The PSLRB is mandated by the Public Service Labour Relations Act and the Parliamentary Employment and Staff Relations Act.  It is committed to resolving labour relations issues impartially and it provides three main types of service:

• Adjudication (hearing and deciding grievances, complaints and other labour relations matters)
• Mediation (helping parties reach collective agreements, manage their relations under collective agreements and resolve disputes without resorting to a hearing)
• Compensation analysis and research
